Leg veins have effectively been treated with the ScleroPlus vascular laser and Sclerotherapy (injections). They are usually genetic and do not pose any health risks. Several treatments may be required to clear the veins. While you may develop more in the future, they can be easily maintained once the majority have been eliminated.
The
Medlite IV laser is one of the most advanced lasers available today for the removal of pigmented lesions. The Medlite IV provides the appropriate wavelength of light for absorption by abnormal melanin concentrations. The Medlite also delivers the light in very short, high intensity pulses for maximum melanin destruction.
At least 80% of all common pigmented lesions are removed with one treatment. 1 to 2 weeks after a treatment, the skin is returned to its natural smooth coloring and texture.
On the average, professional tattoos require 5-6 treatments, while amateur tattoos require 3-4 treatments, all spaced approximately 6-8 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on the amount and type of ink used and the depth of the ink in the skin. Rarely, even more than ten treatments may be needed.
In many cases the tattoo can be removed completely. Greater than 95% fading of the tattoo may be accomplished, however it is very important to know that over 100 tattoo inks are in use worldwide today, none of which are regulated. Not knowing which tattoo ink, how deep or how much was used, makes it impossible to predict the degree of removal or how many treatments it will take.
Just about everyone has a few obvious brown spots on their skin. Freckles, "age spots", "liver spots", and various birthmarks are just a few of the commonly known skin discolorations, generally referred to as pigmented lesions. Although most brown spots are easily ignored, many are quite conspicuous and can detract from your skin's natural beauty.
